1. Why do you think the internet is referred to as the World Wide Web (www) ?
I think that the internet is referred to as the World Wide Web because you can connect with people from anywhere in the world over it. You can get the web about anywhere in the world as long as you have what you need to use it.

2. What do you think makes a website effective?  Just give your opinion.
I think that you should have things on your website that will get the peoples attention. You should make sure it grabs them and they want to stay on your site. You should as make sure that you dont have to much stuff as well.

3. Find an article that gives at least 3 tips on how to design an effective website.

Read the article, and make a post to your blog that describes what the article is about.  Also tell what one tip you think is most important and why.  Don’t forget to include a photo in your post and a link to where you found the article.  Finally, comment on someone else’s blog post from the class.
The article is about 3 things that help make an effective website. You should have an information structure, Organization, and Navigation design. I think the organization step is really important because if you don’t organize it very well then it might all be a mess and people wont want to visit your site. You should always have it organized and easy for people to find what they are looking for.
